SurveyZim is built in respect of the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].

• Secure Storage: Your data is stored securely. We do not transfer your raw survey data to international advertising brokers.
• Data Ownership: You own the data you collect. We provide free export tools because we believe research data belongs to the researcher, not the platform.
• Ad-Free Experience: We do not sell ad space on your surveys. We do not track your respondents to build advertising profiles.

Monetization & Transactions

Researchers: SurveyZim is free to use. We do not charge for survey creation, response collection, or data export.

Analysts: We operate a "Premium Directory" model.

• Listing Fees: Analysts pay a listing fee to appear in our verified directory. These fees are transparently displayed before payment.
• Verification: Payments are processed via secure local methods (EcoCash). Access to the directory is granted automatically upon payment confirmation.
• No Commissions: We do not take a percentage of the work you find through our platform. All agreements between Researchers and Analysts are private.

Acceptable Use & Security

Regional Focus: To protect data integrity, registration is optimized for Zimbabwean users. International traffic may be subject to stricter verification checks.

Data Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols.
• Strict access controls for database management.
• Regular automated backups to prevent data loss.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Download your data at any time via the Dashboard.
• Correction: Update your profile or survey content instantly.
• Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated records by contacting support.
